MICROPHONE-TYPE SENSOR FOR AUSCULTATION OF SOUNDS GENERATED BY BODY OF HUMAN OR ANIMAL

A microphone-type sensor for the auscultation of the sounds generated by the body of human or animal consists of the case of the sound pickup head, the capillary of small diameter, the contact diaphragm, and the electret microphone. The case of the sound pickup head has three openings with the diameters being one tenth of that of microphone. These three openings are located at equal distances one from another in the circle. The receiving surface of microphone is separated from the bottom surface of the hollow perforated cylinder by the air layer with its thickness being two tenth of the diameter of microphone. The internal volume of the cylinder is filled with the porous material.
