A process for the preparation of fatty acid methyl esters (FAME) from vegetable oils and mixtures thereof involves processes of mixing oils with catalyst solution in methanol, esterification thereof and separation of FAME from glycerol phase at temperature of components within the range of 25-50 °С and pressure close to atmospheric. Mixing oils with catalyst solution in methanol and esterification thereof are carried out at three-stage reduction of intensity of mixing devices operation so that i:i:i=8:4:1, and duration of each stage correlates as t:t:t=(0.2-1):(3-5):(1-2), wherein i,i,iare intensity of mixing devices operation and t,t,tare duration of 1-st, 2-nd and 3-d stages. Total time of mixing oils with catalyst solution in methanol and esterification thereof is 25-30% of total time of the FAME preparation. The separation of FAME from glycerol phase is carried out without stirring. The process enables to save 40% of energy resources and to decrease a total exposition time by 5-10%. |
