METHOD OF TREATING PROGRESSIVE (ACTIVE) SUBMACULAR NEOVASCULAR MEMBRANE (SNM)

FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine area, namely ophthalmology, and aims at treatment of eye diseases accompanied with developing active submacular neovascular membrane (SNM) on retina. Eye exposure represents a combination of preparation "Prospidinum" and laser coagulation. "Prospidinum" is introduced in a dose 33 mg once a day within therapeutic course 5-10 days prior to laser coagulation, and since the first day of laser coagulation it retrobulbar introduction of the preparation in a dose 33 mg once a day follows. Therapeutic course is 5-10 days. The course of introduction of "Prospidinum" in the same dosage within 5-10 days once a day is performed every 3 months. ^ EFFECT: invention allows for considerable reduction of recurrent active SNM following retinal laser coagulation and time of treatment, as well as improved social rehabilitation of the patients. ^ 3 ex
