Disclosed is an antifriction polymeric composite material (PCM) based on resole water-soluble phenol-formaldehyde oligomers modified with phenylethoxysilane with lower toxicity (residual phenol content as high as 1%) and high modulus polyamidebenzimidazol chopped fiber, and antifriction additives. The PCM has high mechanical-and-physical properties, high water resistance, low friction coefficient and lower toxicity. The PCM can be used as bearing material capable of working in dry friction assemblies and with minimal lubrication at high loads in corrosion environments and at high temperatures. |
