METHOD FOR EVALUATION OF ELASTICITY OF PNEUMATIC TIRE

摘要

A method for evaluation of elasticity of a pneumatic tire provides for determination of tire elasticity due to pressing thereof by a vertical force to a supporting plate and retention under particular radial deformation. Internal pressure in the tire is changed with simultaneous recording the pressing force, and contact area is determined as a ratio of an increment of the vertical force to the increment of air pressure at the constant radial deformation.
