PURPOSE: A decelerator of a cargo screen for a vehicle is provided to enhance endurance of a screen housing and a screen panel as well as reduce noise by letting a screen to be wrapped onto a roller slightly. CONSTITUTION: A decelerator of a cargo screen for a vehicle comprises a roll cap gear element(41), a cover bracket(42), oil, and an oil damper gear member(44). The roll cap gear element is joined with a roll cap(14) attached in both ends of a roll(12) as one body. The roll cap gear element turns together the roll and the roll cap. An enclosure is formed inside the cover bracket. The cover bracket is held in place in the inside of a housing cover(16). Oil is charged in the enclosure of the cover bracket. One end of the oil damper gear element is meshed with the roll cap gear member. The other end of the oil damper gear element is immersed into the oil through the enclosure. The oil damper gear element consists of a gear unit(44a), a damper unit, and a gear shaft(44c). The gear unit is meshed with the gear element of the roll cap. The damper unit is immerged into the oil.
