The invention relates to a carbon brush guide (10), particularly for a multilayered carbon brush (12), produced from a sheet of metal provided with an insulating layer (20). In order to be able to mass produce a corresponding carbon brush guide at low cost and to provide a minor noise development, the sheet of metal (42) used to make the carbon brush guide is a sheet of steel which is provided with a tin layer and is provided with a coated material acting as an insulating layer. |
