PURPOSE: An imaging lens and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to form a lens unit on a transparent substrate with the first and second curve parts to have four lens surfaces to the maximum, thereby improving resolution. CONSTITUTION: A photographing lens includes a transparent substrate(110) and a lens unit. The transparent substrate has the first curvature on one of one surface or the other surface. The transparent substrate includes at least one curve part(111). The curve part becomes a lens surface. The lens unit is formed on at least one curve part. The lens unit has the second curvature. The first curvature of the curve part is smaller than the second curvature of the lens unit.
