<p>An apparatus and a method for removing moisture from ammonia gas are provided to purify high purity ammonia gas into ultrahigh purity ammonia gas on a large scale by improving the refining ability of a rectifying column. An apparatus for removing moisture from ammonia gas comprises: a pair of rectifying columns(10,20) for receiving source gas supplied from a source gas supplier(55) and purifying ammonia gas at room temperature; a recycling unit(30) for passing hydrogen recycle gas through the rectifying columns in a reverse direction in order to regenerate a catalyst layer filled in the rectifying columns; a plurality of inlet valves and outlet valves(51a-51c,52a-52d) for opening or closing a channel for the incoming and outgoing of the ammonia gas; and a plurality of flow controlling valves(33a,33b,34a,34b) and pressure controlling valves for opening or closing the channel for the incoming and outgoing of the hydrogen recycle gas.</p> |
