#CMT# #/CMT# The spacer (1) has two parallel posts (10) connected by two cross pieces (11) that are perpendicular to the posts, where the spacer is made of thermoplastic synthetic material. The posts have profile sections co-operating in longitudinal sliding relation with profiles of stiffener rails (4) of panels (2, 2') and setting a plane of the ladder orthogonal to planes of the panels, respectively. Each post has a groove (12) with a shape complementary to a wing (6) and a wing return unit (7) of the corresponding rail, and forming a stop non-parallel to the plane of the ladder. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Ladder shaped spacer for maintaining preset spacing between two panels of a formwork for constructing cast concrete walls (all claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The spacer is made of thermoplastic synthetic material, thus reducing the weight and cost of the spacer, and facilitating the implementation of the spacer. The ladder shape of the spacer allows positioning of the spacer by sliding the spacer along two opposed rails of the respective panels, and assures a better parallelism of the planes of the panels along a longitudinal axis of the posts. The plane of the ladder is orthogonal to the planes of the respective panels, so that the rails are opposite to each other and following spacers are positioned easily. The groove has a shape complementary to the wing and the wing return unit, and forms the stop non-parallel to the plane of the ladder, thus preventing the risk of detachment of the spacer from the rails, irrespective of the pressure of the concrete flown between the panels. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows a cut-away perspective view of an assembly of two panels maintained by a spacer. 1 : Spacer 2, 2' : Panels 4 : Stiffener rails 5 : Core 6 : Wings 7 : Wing return units 10 : Posts 11 : Cross pieces 12 : Grooves. |
