A label image printing device and a method thereof are provided to improve the print quality of the label image by maintaining the contrast value of the label image, printed on the inner area and outer area of a light scribe disc, to be identical. A label image printing device comprises a first step for performing optimum optical power measuring operation in specified sections among label area of a write scribe disc; and a second step(S16) for printing a label image by irradiating laser beam corresponding to the optimum optical power. The specified sections are an inner circumference section and an outer circumference section among the label area of the light scribe disc. In the first step, the optimum optical power measuring operation is performed in the inner circumference section and the outer circumference section respectively. |
