<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithographic printing plate precursor which permits good development using a developing liquid having a pH of 2.0 to 10.0 and is excellent in plate wear resistance and stain resistance, and to provide a method of making lithographic printing plate using the lithographic printing plate precursor. <P>SOLUTION: In the lithographic printing plate precursor in which a photosensitive layer of unexposed part is removed in the presence of a developer having a pH of 2 to 10, the photosensitive layer comprises: a copolymer (A) having at least one of a repeating unit represented by the formula (1), a repeating unit represented by the formula (2) and a repeating unit represented by the formula (3); a compound (B) having an ethylenically unsaturated bond; and a polymerization initiator (C). Further, the method of making lithographic printing plate using the lithographic printing plate precursor is also provided. In the formula, (A) and (B) independently represent a hetero atom; R, R<SB>1</SB>to R<SB>9</SB>represent a monovalent substituent; L represent a bivalent linkage group; X represents a monovalent group including a hydroxy group, an acid group, an alkyleneoxy group, an amide group or ether group, an amino group, an ammonium group or a salt produced by neutralizing an acid group; and L<SB>0</SB>represents a hydrocarbon group of a single bond or a bivalent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
