<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blast furnace gas separating method for efficiently separating and eliminating carbon dioxide and nitrogen from blast furnace gas exhausted from the top of a blast furnace at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The generated quantity of blast furnace gas is reduced, and the nitrogen content is lowered by processes for producing oxygen-enriched air with an oxygen concentration of at least 25 vol% and blowing the oxygen-enriched air into the blast furnace from a tuyere provided at the lower part of the blast furnace. Carbon dioxide and nitrogen can thereby be efficiently eliminated at a low cost. In this case, it is preferable that the oxygen-enriched air has an oxygen concentration of 25-96 vol%, that reformed blast furnace gas has a calorific value of 1,060-2,950 kcal/Nm<SP>3</SP>and that the oxygen-enriched air is produced by a rotary oxygen-enriched air producing apparatus 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
