<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club shaft which may be compartible in both carry and directivity. <P>SOLUTION: When a shaft weight is W(g), a distance between a shaft distal end and a shaft center of gravity is L(mm), a value calculated by [(W/L)×100] is X, and a shaft torque value is T(degrees), the X is 7.0 or more and 11.0 or less. Moreover, the golf club shaft satisfies the following equation (1) and equation (2). Equation (1): -0.8X+8.0≤T. Equation (2): T≤-0.8X+11.0.
