<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prescription data management system that can relatively simply reproduce an individual patient's prescription data history, and can reduce the risk of losing or forgetting the prescription data history and reproduce it even if it is lost or forgotten. <P>SOLUTION: The prescription data management system comprises a portable communication terminal 10 that stores a prescription data history of medicines prescribed for a patient and has a contactless IC card mounted to acquire medicine prescription data, a prescription data transmission/reception apparatus 20 having a contactless IC card read/write function, a prescription data issuing apparatus 40 for issuing prescription data, a prescription data management apparatus 30 for storing and managing a prescription data history by patient, and a network 60.
