<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door structure for an automobile that simply achieves an improvement in quietness inside a vehicle cabin by applying processing to a sound insulating sheet. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The door structure for an automobile has the following configuration. A beltline inner weatherstrip 15 is configured such that an interior door-trim 12 is mounted to the vehicle interior side of a door inner panel 11 while seal lip parts 17, 18, mounted along the beltline and being in slide contact with a door glass G, are formed thereon. The beltline inner weatherstrip is mounted to the door inner panel 11 or to the door trim 12. A sound insulating sheet 20 is provided between the door inner panel 11 and the door trim 12 so as to be hung vertically from the upper side to the lower side like a curtain. At least either one of the front upper end and the rear upper end of the sound insulating sheet 20 is provided with ear-like pieces 51, 52 that are protrusively formed so as to cover and conceal gaps S1, S2 generated at the end parts of the beltline inner weatherstrip 15.
