Hinged elements, rotary apparatus with.-A destination and route indicator for passenger vehicles comprises separate cards &c. 6 which are threaded on members 5 so shaped as to permit the cards to be turned in sequence into display position through substantially a complete revolution without removal. Figs. 6, 7 and 8 show differently shaped members 5 mounted along a rod &c. 4, those in Figs. 6 and 7 having a slot 10 whereby the cards can be put on and off, and that in Fig. 8 being springy so that one end 11 can be withdrawn from the rod 4 for this purpose. The rod 4 may be attached to the vehicle by a swivel joint and a spring clip &c., or a folding casing 17, 18, Fig. 4, may be provided to hold one or two sets of the cards, spring or other means 20 engaging the bottom edges of the cards to prevent vibration.
