PURPOSE: A multi-directional input device is provided to prevent the sliding resistance from being irregular by a tilting direction of an axis. CONSTITUTION: A multi-directional input device comprises an operation member(2), a casing(1), engagement members(5,6), a detection member(7), a sliding contact assistant(4) and a coil spring(3). The operation member has a shaft unit(21) extended to an outside. The casing has an opening(11) in which the body is inserted. The engagement member changes a location. The detection member detects the location change of the engagement member. The sliding contact assistant is exteriorly installed at the outer side of an axis and is moved in the axial direction. The coil spring is installed between a flange unit(22) and the sliding contact assistant of the body.
