<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein, when circuit breakers having different current limitation requirements and/or thermal requirements are needed in one application, or a further large circuit breaker is needed, insertion/extraction of the circuit breaker is hindered. <P>SOLUTION: An electrical distribution apparatus 102, 111 includes a fixed terminal, at least two fingers 103, 104, 105, 106 attached to respective pivot points in the apparatus 102, 111, and a mechanical spring 204 in operative communication with the at least two fingers, configured to provide tension upon separation of the at least two fingers. According to the electrical distribution apparatus 102, 111, the at least two fingers 103, 104, 105, 106 have different lengths, the length is a measure of the distance from a pivot point of a finger to an end of the finger, and the respective pivot points are each formed between the fixed terminal and each of the two fingers 103, 104, 105, 106. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
