<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reader having such a structure that the beauty of outward appearance of the image reader is not impaired even when a scanner unit is strained. <P>SOLUTION: A left-side exterior decoration cover 120 is fixed not to a support arm 640 but to a sidewall unit frame 101 of the scanner unit 100 to prevent position shifting from and step generation with a front-side exterior decoration cover and a right-side exterior decoration cover positioned at a periphery of the scanner unit 100 and fixed to the scanner unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
