<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target detector that improves target detection performance even for a high-speed target. <P>SOLUTION: The target detector includes a velocity identification circuit 1 which calculates the Doppler velocity of each of P (P is a positive integer) pulse repetition frequencies (PRF), and when Q (Q is a positive integer, and Q≤P) Doppler velocities out of the Doppler velocities of the P pulse repetition frequencies match, identifies the Doppler velocity as target velocity.
