摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve routing taking QoS into account so as to suppress the number of hops between a transmission source node and a transmission destination node to a fixed value or less in accordance with a method of the Steiner tree for constituting a more economical tree than a conventional method of the minimum spanning tree, in a network capable of performing flexible routing like multiprotocol label switching (MPLS). <P>SOLUTION: The invention relates to a routing apparatus for performing routing when performing multicast communication from a transmission source node to a plurality of transmission destination nodes while utilizing a network, including: a link information storage DB for storing link information of the network; a routing information input unit for acquiring information of the transmission source node and the transmission destination nodes; and a route searching unit which receives the routing information from the routing information input unit and uses the link information received from the link information storage DB to calculate routes from the transmission source node to the transmission destination nodes, wherein the route searching unit sets a route to minimize link costs under a condition that the number of hops from the transmission source node to the transmission destination nodes becomes a predetermined number or less, as a route from the transmission source node to the transmission destination nodes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
