<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bundled body of an aromatic polyamide staple fiber which has excellent bundled properties after being cut into a specific length, keeps the good bundled properties at dry blending, hardly damages the characteristics originally possessed by the aromatic polyamide fiber, and is capable of improving mechanical properties of a thermoplastic resin. <P>SOLUTION: The bundled body of the aromatic polyamide staple fiber using a polyurethane resin as a fiber-sizing agent is regulated so that the 100% modulus of the polyurethane may be 0.1-10.0 MPa, and the polyurethane resin of 1-20 wt.% based on the whole weight of the aromatic polyamide staple fiber may be attached. More preferably, the polyurethane has a breaking elongation of not less than 200% and a decomposition temperature of 270°C, and contains an ether bond in the main chain. The fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin composition is obtained by mixing and kneading the bundled body of the aromatic polyamide staple fiber with the thermoplastic resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
