<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking system capable of applying braking force to wheels arranged on the diagonal of a vehicle, and distributing the braking force to the front wheel braking force and the rear wheel braking force. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The braking system comprises a master cylinder 22 for applying the master pressure PMC to brake oil OIL, a first system 25 for feeding pressurized brake oil OIL1 to an FR cylinder 27a and an RL cylinder 27b, a second system 26 for feeding pressurized brake oil OIL2 to an FL cylinder 27c and an RR cylinder 27d, a first connection pipe L18 for connecting upstream sides of holding solenoid valves 25b, 25c to a part between a holding solenoid valve 26b and the RL cylinder 27c, a second connection pipe L28 for connecting upstream sides of holding solenoid valves 26b, 26c to a part between the holding solenoid valve 25c and the RL cylinder 27b, a first changeover valve 25d provided in the first connection pipe L18, and a second changeover valve 26d provided in the second connection pipe L28.
