<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking leg capable of increasing holding force without increasing insertion load to be applied when inserting it into a mounting hole in a panel. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this locking leg 101 provided on a belt clamp 1, inserted into and held in the mounting hole 6 in the body panel 5 of a vehicle, the length L2 from an axial line 9 of a pair of locking pieces 12 in the direction P of protrusion to an outer peripheral face of an insertion part 11 is set to be larger than the length L1 of an outer peripheral face of shaft perpendicular cross section (a turning fulcrum part 15) including a turning fulcrum 16 being the center of turn of the pair of locking pieces 12 from the axial line 9 of the pair of locking pieces 12 in the direction P of protrusion. Consequently, the turning fulcrum part 15 is formed in a stepped condition inward more than the insertion part 11. As a result, wall thickness of a lower half part of the insertion part 11 is increased while leaving cross sectional area of the turning fulcrum part 15 as it is, and holding force is increased without increasing insertion load to be applied on the locking leg 101.
