PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine enabling a cylinder head cover to be removed from a cylinder head without dismounting the engine from a vehicle having a small clearance above the cylinder head cover. SOLUTION: A cylinder block 22 is mounted on the cylinder head 20, and the cylinder head cover 21 is constructed in such a manner that the same can move in the right and left directions with respect to the cylinder head 20. The cylinder head cover 21 can be attached on and detached from the cylinder head 20 by moving the cylinder head cover 21 in the right and left directions. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
