A drive device provided with an input shaft (I) connected to and engine (E), a first dynamo-electric machine (MG1), a second dynamo-electric machine (MG2), a differential gear device (PG) equipped with a first rotating element connected to the first dynamo-electric machine (MG1), a second rotating element connected to the input shaft (I), and a third rotating element functioning as an output rotating element, and a control device (11) for controlling the first dynamo-electric machine (MG1) and the second dynamo-electric machine (MG2). The first dynamo-electric machine (MG1) and the differential gear device (PG) are mounted coaxially with the input shaft (I). The first dynamo-electric machine (MG1) and the second dynamo-electric machine (MG2) are mounted on different axes so as to be axially overlapped with each other. A first constituting part (12) constituting the control device (11) is mounted below the first dynamo-electric machine (MG1), at a position at which at least a part of the first constituting part (12) overlaps with the first dynamo-electric machine (MG1) in a plan view seen from vertically above.
