<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-ALS agent that is effective for prevention, onset inhibition and/or treatments of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) without causing side effects on a human being ingesting it. <P>SOLUTION: The anti-ALS agent effective for prevention, onset inhibition and/or treatments of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is disclosed. The anti-ALS agent comprises at least one plant extract selected from the group consisting of rosemary extracts and sage extracts as an effective ingredient. The anti-ALS agent accomplishes prevention, onset inhibition and/or treatments of the ALS through prevention of onset of motility function abnormality, suppression of progress after onset of the abnormality and improvement after onset of the abnormality. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
