<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit erroneous operation of a touch switch in a vehicle interior illumination apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle interior illumination apparatus includes a first type of touch switch, which turns illumination ON or OFF when a human body comes into contact with or is separated from a vehicle interior side surface of an illumination lens 20, and a second type of touch switch which switches linkage and non-linkage between ON/OFF of illumination and a door state when the human body moves while being in contact with the vehicle interior side surface of the illumination lens 20. The first type of touch switch includes transparent electrodes 25, 26 on the illuminant source side surface of the illumination lens 20 in order to detect contact or separation of the human body with or from the vehicle interior side surface of the illumination lens. The second type of touch switch includes a plurality of transparent electrodes 27 on the light-source side surface of the illumination lens 20 in order to detect movement of the human body while being in contact with the vehicle interior side surface of the illumination lens 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
