<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform printing so as not to damage the function of a copy check image independent of the contents of a printing instruction to a document image. <P>SOLUTION: The printing instruction is acquired from a terminal device 10, and a second command processing part 225 executes image processing within a prescribed range in the printing instruction for the background part of a latent image. Also, when a character part is included in the latent image, a third command processing part 226 executes the image processing according to the printing instruction to the character part.
