<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedal apparatus of an electronic musical instrument, which provides a player with feeling similar to that the player perceives when he or she manipulates a damper pedal of an acoustic piano. <P>SOLUTION: A lever 40 is supported by a lever supporting portion 41. The lever 40 is energized by a first spring 45 and a second spring 48. The energizing force of the first spring 45 varies over the entire operational range of the lever 40. The second spring 48 is supported by a bottom face of a weight 46. Displacement of the weight 46 to lower direction is restricted by a fixed supporting member FR. If the energizing force of the second spring 48 exceeds the weight 46 itself, the weight 46 is displaced upwards.
