<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hopping developing type image forming device capable of suppressing poor development of an isolated dot and toner scattering from the surface of a toner carrier without providing an opposing electrode substrate. <P>SOLUTION: The toner hopping height, at a portion inside a developing region A3 of the peripheral side of a roller part 3, is made larger than the height of toner made to hop at a portion outside the developing region, by applying a voltage with larger Vpp or smaller frequencies than an alternating voltage applied to an A-phase electrode or a B-phase electrode at the opposite position of a region which is different from the developing region as an alternating voltage to be applied to the A-phase electrode, or to the B-phase electrode at the opposite position of the developing region A3 from among the plurality of A-phase electrodes or B-phase electrodes which are formed so as to line up along the roller circumferential direction, at a roller part 3 of a toner carrying roller 2 for hopping toner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
