PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved cleaning and/or dish washing composition with acceptable foaming without requiring a soap foam booster, and further provide a cleaning and/or dish washing kit for generating foams with maximum oil solubilization and acceptable foams in dilution having oil solubilization characteristics of the dish washing composition higher than that in dilution forming acceptable foams in use.

SOLUTION: The dish washing kit contains a container having a foam-generating dispenser and a dish washing composition in the container. The dish washing composition contains a surfactant system and a solvent. The foam-generating dispenser can generate a foam having a foam-to-weight ratio of about 2 ml/g or larger when used with the dish washing composition.
