<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting body for an electric facility, which can be applied to a thin wall panel short in depth and can be improved in versatility and handleability without any fear of unexpected damages during fitting, while keeping the advantage of allowing late fitting simply and conveniently from the surface side of the wall panel through an opening. <P>SOLUTION: In the C-type mounting body A for electric installation to be fitted late to the opening 10 of the wall panel W, a pair of mounting parts 1, 2 having a collar part 3 abutting on the panel rear surface surrounding the opening and a frame part 4 projecting on the panel surface side along the inner circumferential surface 10a of the opening are arranged separately into one side part 15 and the other side part 16 opposed to each other at the opening 10. Both mounting parts 1, 2 are switchably connected to each other, either to a contraction state where the mutual mounting parts can be approached and moved relatively to pass through the opening 10 or to a stretching state where both mounting parts 1, 2 are moved away from each other to allow each frame part 4, 4 to abut on the inner circumferential surface 10a of the opening.
