<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to acquire the presence or absence of calibration operation in regard to characteristics of a radiation detecting part. <P>SOLUTION: This radiation image imaging system has a radiation detecting part 1015 including a phosphor 1012 for converting incident radiation into light, and a photoelectric conversion part 1013 for converting the light converted by the phosphor 1012, into an electric signal by a plurality of pixels to image a radiation image; a planar light emitter 1014 illuminating the plurality of pixels in the photoelectric conversion part 1013; an illumination image acquiring part 107 for acquiring an illumination image imaged by the photoelectric conversion part 1013 based on the light emitted by the planar light emitter 1014; an illumination image comparing part 110 for comparing at least two illumination images acquired at different timing in the illumination image acquiring part 107; and a characteristic determining part 111 for determining whether the characteristics of the radiation detecting part 1015 have changed based on the compared result of the illumination image comparing part 110. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
