<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for setting information, that is required beforehand for a VPN connection between two communication devices, to the communication devices safely without trouble. <P>SOLUTION: A VPN connection method for performing a VPN connection between a connection source communication device and a connection destination communication device over an IP communication network includes: a VPN connection request step of transmitting a SIP message containing a VPN connection request from the connection source communication device to the connection destination communication device via an IP telephone network that performs call control using a SIP; an IP address acquisition step of transmitting a SIP message containing an IP address of the connection destination communication device from the connection destination communication device to the connection source communication device, receiving the SIP message at the connection source communication device, and acquiring the IP address from the SIP message; and a VPN connection step of performing the VPN connection by enabling the connection source communication device to communicate with the connection destination communication device using the IP address acquired in the IP address acquisition step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
