摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily achieve miniaturization while controlling characteristic and performance deterioration. <P>SOLUTION: A light-emitting element 1 includes a light-emitting side primary molded body 8 on which a light-emitting side lead frame 7 is primarily molded using a translucent resin such that two or more lenses 5 may be formed with a plurality of light-emitting chips mounted thereon, while a light-receiving element includes the light-emitting side primary molded body on which the light-emitting side lead frame is primarily molded using the translucent resin with the light-emitting chips mounted thereon. Both are opposed with an optical passage therebetween, and are secondarily molded using the resin into a secondary molded body. In this way, two or more luminous fluxes are obtained by two or more lenses 5 from multiple light-emitting chips, which reduces the diameter of the lenses 5 and shortens the focal length, thus achieving miniaturization of the light-emitting element 1. Further, use of the multiple light-emitting chips and lenses 5 of the same number enables light to be irradiated to a wider area.
