PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector in which an optical path is changed by an internal reflection method and an internal reflecting surface is easily formed. SOLUTION: An optical connector body 6 is a resin-molded article made of a translucent resin, and has an optical fiber insertion hole 11 which is parallel to a substrate face 3a, an optical fiber abutting face 12a at the front end thereof and an internal reflecting surface 15a in front of and close to the optical fiber abutting face 12a. The internal reflecting surface 15a is formed at the bottom face of a bottomed hole 15 drilled on the optical connector body 6 from the outer face. In a metallic mold for molding the resin into the optical connector body 6, the internal reflecting surface is formed with a core pin for forming the bottomed hole 15.
