<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter, a receiver and a communication device, which reduce the erroneous detection of a demodulation start point due to noise and highly accurately capture synchronization. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In transmission, a basic signal string and a time-inverted signal string for which it is time-inverted are used, and time-inverted synchronizing signals, for which the basic signal string and the time-inverted signal string are made adjacent to the two leading signal strings and the two last signal strings, and further the two leading signal strings and the two last signal strings are made adjacent and one or both of the basic signal string and the time-inverted signal string are connected between the two leading signal strings and the two last signal strings, are added to data signals and transmitted. In reception, a signal string for which a reception signal string coming earlier by a fixed time is time-inverted and a reception signal string are correlated, synchronization capturing is determined based on the matching degree of a correlation peak and a reference peak pattern obtained from the arrangement order of the basic signal string and time-inverted signal string of the time-inverted synchronizing signals, and the demodulation start point is predetermined.
