<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shielded connector for preventing the occurrence of an assembling failure. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The shielded connector comprises a plurality of female terminals 2, a connector housing 3, and a shield shell 8. The connector housing 3 has a terminal holder 6 for holding a plurality of female terminals 2, and an inner housing 5 inside which the terminal holder 6 is inserted. The shield shell 8 has an upper shield shell 25 and a lower shield shell mounted with each other for covering the outer periphery of the inner housing 5. The upper shield shell 25 is overlapped with part of a face 6a of the terminal holder 6 at the inserting-direction rear end side of the inner housing 5, when mounted on the inner housing 5. It has an extending wall 30 for detecting the midway insertion of the terminal holder 6 while abutting on the terminal holder 6 to restrict the mounting of the upper shield shell 25 on the inner housing 5 when the terminal holder 6 is inserted into the midway of the inner housing 5.
