PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card adapter for holding a card which is narrower and longer than a card to be mounted directly on a card connector, and for easily discharging the held longer card. SOLUTION: The card adapter includes an adapter body 10 to be guided by a guide member during mounting another card on the card connector, and mounted on the card connector not to contact the contact terminal of another card, and a holding part for holding the card 2 on the adapter body 10 while protruding a rear end 2c of the card 2 from a rear end 10h of the adapter body 10. The holding part includes a push-push type discharge mechanism 11 having a slider for discharging the card 2 held on the adapter body 10, a storage portion for the adapter body 10, an engaging piece 11c, and a restricting piece 10d.
