<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle capable of saving fuel consumption and ensuring comfortableness in response to a request of an occupant. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An air-conditioner ECU checks whether or not an economy mode switch is turned on with an operation switch being turned on, and if the economy mode switch is not turned on, a comfortableness priority mode is set (Step 110 to Step 114). Further, when the economy mode switch is turned on, a blowout mode and a set temperature are checked, and if a defroster outlet is not selected, and the set temperature is not set to maximum temperatue or minimum temperature, the economy mode is set (Step 116 to Step 124). Moreover, when the air conditioner ECU is set in the economy mode, a threshold value set to the economy mode is selected and air-conditioning control and an engine start request/cancel are performed to improve a fuel consumption saving effect.
