<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel filter clogging monitoring device capable of grasping a clogging state of a fuel filter in operation, and capable of grasping accurate replacement timing of the fuel filter in advance. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A fuel filter clogging monitoring device for a construction machinery monitors clogging of a filter 2 for filtering fuel supplied from a fuel tank 9 to an engine 1. The device includes an engine controller 3 for controlling an engine speed and a fuel injection amount of the engine 1, a pressure difference detector 5 for detecting a pressure difference of the filter 2, and an controlling means 4. The controlling means calculates a fuel flow rate based on a fuel consumption amount read out from the engine controller 3, calculates a degree of clogging of the filter 2 by checking the fuel flow rate and the pressure difference detected by the pressure difference detector 5 with clogging characteristics from a brand-new condition to an end-of-life condition of the filter 2 set based on the pressure difference of the filter 2 and the fuel flow rate, and displays the calculated results.
