The invention relates to a method for establishing a blade connection for a rotor blade for a wind energy system, comprising securing elements that are provided preferably in an equidistant manner on a circular arc, for securing the blade connection to the hub. The invention also relates to a blade connection and to a securing element for a blade connection. The aim of the invention is to improve the securing of a rotor blade to the hub of a wind energy system and to also establish and/or provide a suitable blade connection. Said aim is achieved according to the method, in such a manner that securing elements designed in pieces are arranged on the circular arc and are arranged at a distance from each other by means of the distancing elements.
