The method involves detecting a data volume (1), which describes about an immovable object, from a number of individual data (2) with an electronic detection medium (3) e.g. query program. The electronically detected individual data is categorized in a system for electronic data processing by using a database (4). The categorized individual data is stored in the database. The individual data is evaluated with a software evaluation unit (5). A documentation (6) about the immovable object is generated, and the documentation is displayed and/or output.
