The unit (1) has an armature shaft (3) e.g. spindle, indirectly supported in a housing part (2) in an axial direction. A damping body (15) is provided with a through-hole at an end of the armature shaft to generate a locking moment against a rotary movement that is acted on the shaft with an admission of shaft in the axial direction against the housing part. The damping body is arranged in a region in which the armature shaft is supported in the housing part. A starting element (10) is fastened to the housing part. The damping body is made of a spring-elastic material.
