<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circular polarization substrate, capable of giving a phase difference of 1/4 wavelength regardless of the wavelength band, and an organic EL display device using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The circular polarization substrate comprises a substrate, liquid crystal immobilized layers formed on one side of the substrate in conformation to first to third pixels, and a linear polarization plate laminated on the side opposite to the liquid crystal immobilized layers of the substrate.
