<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent compression efficiency from dropping due to leakage of a cooling medium from a gap between a cylinder and a rotating piston caused by deformation caused by fastening bolts for connecting a bearing and a cylinder of a compressing mechanism in a high-pressure compression process of the cooling medium of a rotary compressor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A top bearing 6 that supports a crankshaft 8 is made as a two piece joint structure composed of a shaft bearing 6a and a flange section 6b for fixing a cylinder 3. Also a through-hole 20 in which a bolt 14 for fixing the cylinder 3 onto the flange section 6b is inserted is provided on the flange section 6b, and a fastening force relief shape 17 having a depth of 5 to 10 μm in a rage of three times the diameter of the bolt is formed around the through-hole 20 on the cylinder 3 side.
