PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely suppress a sound volume transmitted to a lower floor. SOLUTION: A supporting leg for a floor material comprises a supporting board 3 including two wooden boards 1, 1a and a shock absorbing plate 2 interposed between them, and a leg body 5 arranged under the supporting board 3 by the intermediary of a compression spring 4. Vibration is surely absorbed by the vibration damping action of the shock absorbing plate of the supporting board 3 and the vibration damping action of the compression spring 4 provided to independently mount the leg body 5 and the supporting board 3, so that the sound volume transmitted to the lower floor can be surely suppressed.
