PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monolayer positively charging type electrophotographic photoreceptor, an image forming apparatus and a process cartridge, achieving high chargeability, high sensitivity and low residual potential, and having excellent potential stability in repeated use. SOLUTION: In this monolayer positively charging type electrophotographic photoreceptor, at least a charge generating material [containing N type charge generating material (e.g. azo compound, a perylene compound, an indigo compound, an anthraquinone compound) and a P type charge generating material (a dichloro tin phthalocyanine compound of a specified structure having an X-ray diffraction peak pattern shown in Fig. 1)], a tristyryl compound having a specified structure and a photosensitive layer containing binder resin are provided on a conductive support.
